One thing I especially love about November is how our community comes together. From PANGEA: Cultivate Our Cultures at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead to the festive Christkindlmarkt at the Fargo Civic Center, our area has so many opportunities to celebrate different cultures, support local entrepreneurs, and spend time with friends and family.

As someone who loves supporting small businesses, I'm also looking forward to Small Business Saturday on November 28. Whether it's grabbing a meal at a locally owned restaurant, shopping at a neighborhood store, or supporting a family-owned business, every dollar spent locally helps strengthen the community we call home.

November is also a time to reflect and give thanks. I'm especially grateful for our veterans, first responders, educators, nonprofit organizations, and everyone who works to make Fargo-Moorhead such a welcoming place to live. When I'm not at the office, you'll often find me supporting a local business, attending an MSUM or community event, or getting in a little basketball or pickleball!
